Dionne's Story

Dionne pictured with her husband and daughters

This is Dionne Ritter-Bright, a 36 year-old wife and working mother of two young children. She is a bright, warm and caring woman who is active with school and community activities.

However, what makes Dionne different is that she is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant.

For over 15 years, she has lived with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, which has left her functioning at less than 10% of normal kidney function, and preparing to live the rest of her life on dialysis.

Here’s how YOU can help Dionne in her fight for life…if you are interested in becoming a donor, or have questions about tissue and/or organ donations, please contact the Gift of Life Donor Program at:

02/23/04--Dionne was admitted to the hospital due to an infection from her catheter. This does not appear to be a problem for her scheduled transplant date.
