This is Dionne Ritter-Bright, a 36 year-old wife and working mother of two young children. She is a bright, warm and caring woman who is active with school and community activities.

However, what makes Dionne different is that she is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant.

For over 15 years, she has lived with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, which has left her functioning at less than 10% of normal kidney function, and preparing to live the rest of her life on dialysis.

Updates to Dionne's Condition:

02/17/04--Dionne has received word that her potential donor is a match. She is scheduled to undergo her kidney transplant on March 9, 2004!! Thanks to all of the many people who have prayed for us and sent e-mails wishing her well :o)

02/21/04--Eight more dialysis sessions to go!!

02/23/04--Dionne was admitted to the hospital due to an infection from her catheter. This does not appear to be a problem for her scheduled transplant date.

02/25/04--Dionne is released from the hospital. New catheter has been put in, and transplant date is still scheduled for March 9th
